Terms of Service and End User License Agreement

I. INTRODUCTION
These Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (collectively, the "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you as a natural person ("you", "your" or "user") and TheBisonTech ("we," "us" or "our"), concerning your access to and use of "AnyTranslate: AI Translator" software application for mobile devices (the "App").
All documents that relate to the App are hereby expressly incorporated herein by reference.
Please read this Agreement carefully before you download, install or use the App.
It is important that you read and understand this Agreement as by downloading, installing or using the App you indicate that you have read, understood, agreed and accepted the Agreement which takes effect on the date on which you download, install or use the App. By using the App you agree to abide by this Agreement.
If you do not agree with (do not accept) this Agreement, or if you do not agree with at least one of the provisions of this Agreement, you are not authorized to access, download, install or use the App and you must promptly discontinue downloading, installing the App and remove (delete) the App from any mobile device in your possession or under your control.
II. CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to make changes or modifications to this Agreement at any time and for any reason. We will keep you informed about any changes by updating this Agreement and you waive any right to receive specific notice of each such change.
It is your responsibility to periodically review this Agreement to stay informed of updates. You will be subject to, and will be deemed to be aware of and to have accepted, the changes in any revised Agreement by your continued use of the App after the date such revised Agreement is posted.
III. RESTRICTIONS ON WHO CAN USE THE APP
Age Requirements:
To download, install, access or use the App, you must be at least thirteen (13) years of age.
For Users Aged 13-17:
All users who are minors in the jurisdiction in which they reside (generally under the age of 18) must have the permission of, and be directly supervised by, their parent or guardian to use the App. If you are between the ages of thirteen (13) and seventeen (17) years and you wish to download, install, access or use the App, before doing so you must:
(a) Assure and confirm that your parent or guardian have read and agreed to this Agreement prior to you using the App;
(b) Have the power to enter a binding contract with us and not be barred from doing so under any applicable laws.
Parental Supervision:
Parents and guardians must directly supervise any use of the App by minors. It is the sole responsibility of parents and guardians to prevent any unauthorized, irrelevant, indecent and/or immoral use of the App by their minors who have not reached the age of majority or legal age in the applicable jurisdiction.
ANY PERSON UNDER THE AGE OF THIRTEEN (13) YEARS IS NOT PERMITTED TO DOWNLOAD, INSTALL, ACCESS OR USE THE APP.
You affirm that you have either reached the age of majority or legal age in the applicable jurisdiction, or you are an emancipated minor, or possess legal parental or guardian consent, and are fully able and competent to enter into the terms, conditions, obligations, affirmations, representations, and warranties set forth in this Agreement, and to abide by and comply with this Agreement.
IV. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
Purpose of the App:
AnyTranslate is a translation application designed to facilitate communication across languages. The App provides:
- Text-to-text translation between multiple languages
- Voice-to-text translation with speech recognition
- Image and camera-based text translation
- AI-powered tone adjustment for translations (Natural, Formal, Friendly, Romantic)
- Phrasebook with common expressions and categories
- Offline translation capabilities for downloaded languages
- Custom keyboard for translation (available in premium plans)
The App is intended only for your personal non-commercial use. You shall use the App only for the purposes mentioned above.
V. SUBSCRIPTION PLANS & PRICING
AnyTranslate operates on a freemium model with the following subscription tiers:
5.1 Free Tier
Price: Free (default)

5.2 Starter Tier

5.5 Pricing
Subscription prices are displayed in your local currency as determined by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Final pricing will be shown during the purchase process before you confirm your subscription.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will not affect your current billing cycle. You will be notified of price changes in advance as required by platform policies. Your continued use of the subscription after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
VI. PAYMENT & BILLING
6.1 Payment Processing
All payments are processed through:
- Apple App Store (for iOS devices)
- Google Play Store (for Android devices)
Payment will be charged to your App Store account or Google Play account linked to your device upon confirmation of purchase.
We do not directly process payments or store your payment information. All payment processing is handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective terms and privacy policies.

VII. AUTO-RENEWAL TERMS
⚠️ IMPORTANT: SUBSCRIPTIONS AUTOMATICALLY RENEW
7.1 Monthly Subscriptions
- Subscriptions automatically renew on a monthly basis unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Your account will be charged for the renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- The renewal charge will be the same as your original subscription price unless you have been notified otherwise.
7.2 Yearly Subscriptions
- Subscriptions automatically renew on an annual basis unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Your account will be charged for the renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- The renewal charge will be the same as your original subscription price unless you have been notified otherwise.
7.3 Business Subscriptions
- Business subscriptions auto-renew monthly based on the plan selected.
- The same auto-renewal terms apply as described above.
7.4 Managing Auto-Renewal
You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal at any time through your device settings:
For iOS users: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → AnyTranslate → Cancel Subscription
For Android users: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → AnyTranslate → Cancel Subscription
Note: Turning off auto-renewal does not cancel your current subscription. You will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period.
VIII. FREE TRIAL TERMS
From time to time, we may offer free trial periods for our subscription plans.
8.1 Free Trial Conditions
- If a free trial is offered, the trial duration will be clearly displayed on the subscription signup screen.
- You may be required to provide payment information to start a free trial.
- After the free trial period expires, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and you will be charged unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial period ends.
8.2 Trial Forfeiture
- Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription to the same tier.
- If you have previously used a free trial for a specific subscription tier, you may not be eligible for another free trial of the same tier.
8.3 Trial Cancellation
To avoid being charged after your free trial:
- Cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the free trial period ends
- Follow the cancellation instructions provided in Section IX below
IX. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
9.1 Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your subscription at any time by following these steps:
For iOS users:
- Open Settings on your device
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select AnyTranslate
- Tap Cancel Subscription
For Android users:
- Open Google Play Store
- Tap Menu → Subscriptions
- Select AnyTranslate
- Tap Cancel Subscription
9.2 Effect of Cancellation
- Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.
- Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- After the billing period ends, you will be automatically downgraded to the Free tier.
- You will lose access to all premium features once the subscription expires.
9.3 Refund Policy
We (TheBisonTech) do not process refunds directly. All refund requests must be directed to:

- Android users: Google Play Store - https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637
All refund policies are governed by Apple's and Google's respective refund policies. For assistance with refund requests, you can contact our support team at hello@thebisontech.com, but final refund decisions are made by the platform provider (Apple or Google).
9.4 No Refunds for Service Changes
No refunds will be provided for:
- Service interruptions or downtime
- Changes to features or subscription tiers
- Removal or modification of features
- Your dissatisfaction with translation quality
- Voluntary cancellation of your subscription
X. RESTORE PURCHASES
10.1 Restore Functionality
You can restore your previous purchases at any time by:
- Opening the AnyTranslate app
- Navigating to the subscription/paywall screen
- Tapping the "Restore Purchases" button
10.2 When to Use Restore
The restore function is useful when:
- Reinstalling the app on the same device
- Installing the app on a new device
- Experiencing sign-in issues
- Your subscription status is not displaying correctly
10.3 Cross-Platform Limitations
Subscriptions are NOT transferable between platforms. Subscriptions are tied to:
- Your Apple ID (for iOS subscriptions)
- Your Google Account (for Android subscriptions)
If you switch from iOS to Android (or vice versa), you will need to purchase a new subscription on the new platform.
XI. USAGE LIMITATIONS & FAIR USE
11.1 Daily Translation Limits
Each subscription tier has specific daily translation limits:
- Free: 5 translations per day
- Starter: 50 translations per day
- Pro: 100 translations per day
- Business: 500 translations per day
Important Notes:
- Translation limits reset daily at midnight (local device time)
- Limits apply to both text and voice translations combined
- Exceeding your daily limit will prevent further translations until the next day or until you upgrade to a higher tier
11.2 AR Camera Limits
AR camera tap limits are tracked separately from translation limits:
- Free & Starter: No AR camera access
- Pro: 100 AR taps per day
- Business: 1000 AR camera scans per month
11.3 Favorites Limits
- Free: Maximum 10 saved favorites
- Starter, Pro, Business: Unlimited favorites
11.4 Abuse Prevention
Prohibited Uses:
- Automated or bot-like usage of the service
- Using the service for commercial purposes beyond your subscription tier's intended use
- Sharing accounts or subscription credentials with others
- Attempting to circumvent usage limits through technical means
Consequences of Abuse:
- Users found abusing the service may have their subscription terminated immediately without refund
- We reserve the right to modify usage limits to prevent abuse
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate fair use policies
XII. SUBSCRIPTION STATUS & VERIFICATION
12.1 Offline Access
When you are offline, the App trusts the cached subscription status stored on your device. Premium features will remain accessible offline based on the last verified subscription status.
12.2 Online Verification
When you are online, the App periodically verifies your subscription status with the Apple App Store or Google Play Store:
- If verification confirms an active subscription, premium features remain available
- If verification shows an expired or cancelled subscription, you will be downgraded to the Free tier
- If verification fails due to network issues, the App will continue using cached status temporarily
12.3 Multiple Devices
- Subscriptions can be used on multiple devices logged into the same Apple ID (iOS) or Google Account (Android)
- You do not need to purchase separate subscriptions for each device
- All devices must use the same platform (iOS or Android)
- Cross-platform transfers are not supported
12.4 Service Interruptions
You are not entitled to refunds for:
- Service interruptions caused by subscription verification issues
- Temporary loss of access due to network connectivity problems
- Platform-specific verification delays (Apple/Google)
XIII. PRIVACY POLICY
Your privacy is very important to us. Accordingly, we have developed the Privacy Policy in order for you to understand how we process, use and store information including personal data.
Access to the App and use of the Services are subject to the Privacy Policy. By accessing the App and by continuing to use the Services, you are deemed to have accepted the Privacy Policy, and in particular, you are deemed to have acknowledged the ways we process your information as well as appropriate legal grounds for processing described in the Privacy Policy.
You are solely responsible for using your personal data when you submit images containing such data for translation through camera or camera roll.
We reserve the right to amend the Privacy Policy from time to time. If you disagree with any part of the Privacy Policy, you must immediately stop using the App and Services.

XIV. END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
License Grant:
As long as you keep using the App, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, non-assignable and revocable license to access and use the App pursuant to this Agreement (the "License").
Intellectual Property Rights:
By using the App, you undertake to respect our intellectual rights (intellectual rights related to the App's source code, UI/UX design, content material, copyright and trademarks, hereinafter referred to as the "Intellectual Property Rights") as well as those owned by third parties.
The source code, design and content, including information, photographs, illustrations, artwork and other graphic materials, sounds, music or video (hereinafter – the "works") as well as names, logos and trademarks (hereinafter – "means of individualization") within the App are protected by copyright laws and other relevant laws and/or international treaties, and belong to us and/or our partners and/or contracted third parties, as the case may be.
These works and means of individualization may not be copied, reproduced, retransmitted, distributed, disseminated, sold, published, broadcasted or circulated whether in whole or in part, unless expressly permitted by us and/or our partners and/or contracted third parties, as the case may be.
All rights, title and interest in and to the App and its content, works and means of individualization as well as its functionalities:
- Are the exclusive property of TheBisonTech and/or our partners and/or contracted third parties
- Are protected by applicable international and national legal provisions
- Are under no circumstances transferred (assigned) to you in full or in part within the context of the license herewithin
We will not hesitate to take legal action against any unauthorized use of our trademarks, names or symbols to protect and restore our rights. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.
THIRD-PARTY AI TECHNOLOGIES INTEGRATED INTO THE APP:
The following third-party AI technologies are used to support translation services in the App:
- Google Cloud Translation API (provided by Google LLC) - for text translation services
- Google Gemini AI (provided by Google LLC) - for AI-powered tone adjustment and speech-to-text services
- Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics (provided by Google LLC) - for app analytics and crash reporting
DISCLAIMER OF TRANSLATION ACCURACY:
Google LLC disclaims all warranties related to the translations or other results of their services, express or implied, including any warranties of accuracy, reliability, and any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
XV. PROHIBITED BEHAVIOUR
You agree not to use the App in any way that:
- Is unlawful, illegal or unauthorized
- Is defamatory of any other person
- Is obscene or offensive
- Infringes any copyright, database right or trademark of any other person
- May reasonably be considered to be libelous, immoral, harmful, misleading, deceptive, fraudulent, indecent, hateful, racially or religiously biased or offensive, slanderous, obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, or that encourages anyone to violate any local, state, national or international law
- Advocates, promotes or assists any unlawful act such as (by way of example only) copyright infringement or computer misuse
Additional Restrictions:
You shall not:
- Make the App available to any third parties for commercial purposes
- Modify, translate into other languages, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise create derivative works from the App or any documentation concerning the App
- Transfer, lend, rent, lease, distribute the App commercially, or use it for providing services to a third party, or grant any rights to the App or any documentation concerning the App to a third party for commercial gain
- Misuse any trademarks or any other content displayed on the App
- Copy and/or duplicate and/or distribute and/or publish and/or use any content in the App, directly or indirectly, by way of a violation of our Intellectual Property Rights
- Make any attempts to use the App or part thereof for malicious intentions
- Use the App to translate content that violates any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Share your subscription credentials or account with others
- Attempt to circumvent subscription verification or usage limits
We are not responsible for the way you use the App.
It is clarified that we may adopt, against a user who violated the present Agreement, any legal measures at our disposal pursuant to the applicable laws.
XVI. AVAILABILITY OF THE APP, SECURITY AND ACCURACY
System Requirements:
In order to use the App, you are required to have:
- A compatible mobile phone or tablet
- Internet access for online translation features
- iOS 14.0 or later for iOS devices
- Android 8.0 or later for Android devices
The App offers offline translation capabilities for languages that you download in advance (available in Pro and Business tiers).
Compatibility and Availability:
We do not warrant that the App will be compatible with all hardware and software which you may use.
We make no warranty that your access to the App will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free.
You acknowledge the App is provided via the internet and mobile networks and so the quality and availability of the App may be affected by factors outside our reasonable control, including:
- Internet connectivity issues
- Third-party API availability (Google Translate, Gemini AI)
- Device compatibility
- Operating system updates
Updates and Changes:
The version of the App may be upgraded from time to time to add support for new functions and services.
We may change or update the App and anything described in it without notifying you. If the need arises, we may suspend access to the App, or close it indefinitely.
We reserve the right to:
- Add, modify, or remove features at any time
- Change subscription tier features without prior notice
- Discontinue support for certain devices or operating systems
- Modify usage limits and quotas
User Responsibility:
You warrant that any information that you submit to us is true, accurate and complete, and you agree to keep it current at all times.
You can discontinue using our Services at any time. If you decide not to use the App for any reason you should uninstall the App.
XVII. THIRD PARTY WEBSITES AND RESOURCES
The App may link you to other sites on the Internet and contracted third parties to provide you certain services. We have no control over and accept no responsibility for the content of any website or mobile application to which a link from the App exists (unless we are the provider of those linked websites or mobile applications).
Such linked websites and mobile applications are provided "as is" for your convenience only with no warranty, express or implied, for the information provided within them.
Your Responsibilities:
You acknowledge that you must comply with applicable third party terms of agreement when using the App. You are solely responsible for and bear all risks arising from your use of any third-party websites or resources.
If you have any queries, concerns or complaints about such third party websites or mobile applications (including, but not limited to, queries, concerns or complaints relating to products, orders for products, faulty products and refunds) you must direct them to the operator of that third party website or mobile application.
XVIII. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
YOU AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE APP AND ITS SERVICES SHALL BE AT YOUR SOLE RISK. THE SERVICES AND ALL THE MATERIALS, INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, CONTENT INTEGRATED IN THE APP ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE".
WE DO NOT MAKE ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH REGARD TO THE MERCHANTABILITY, TECHNICAL COMPATIBILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OF ANY SERVICE, PRODUCTS OR MATERIAL PROVIDED PURSUANT TO THIS AGREEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE FUNCTIONS CONTAINED ON OR THROUGH THE SERVICES WILL BE AVAILABLE, UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE SERVICES OR THE SERVERS THAT MAKE THE SERVICE AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
Translation Accuracy:
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT TRANSLATIONS PROVIDED BY THE APP WILL BE 100% ACCURATE. Translation quality depends on various factors including:
- The complexity of the source text
- Language pair combinations
- Context and cultural nuances
- Technical limitations of AI and machine translation technologies
You should not rely solely on App translations for critical, legal, medical, or safety-related communications without independent verification.
Tone Adjustment:
The AI-powered tone adjustment feature is designed to modify the style and formality of translations. While we strive for accuracy, the tone modifications may not always perfectly capture the intended nuance or may be culturally inappropriate in certain contexts.
Service Availability:
- Translation services depend on third-party APIs (Google Translate, Gemini AI) and may experience downtime
- We do not guarantee 100% uptime or continuous availability
- No refunds will be provided for temporary service interruptions
- Subscription time is not extended for service outages
XIX. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
General Limitations:
IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OF ANY TYPE, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT, ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY RELATED TO THE APP AND SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE APP.
WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES FOR ANY SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFIT OR REVENUES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN SPECIFICALLY ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES FOR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY RELATED TO PRODUCTS, SERVICES AND/OR INFORMATION OFFERED OR PROVIDED BY ANY THIRD-PARTIES AND ACCESSED THROUGH THE APP OR BY ANY OTHER MEANS.
YOU ALSO SPECIFICALLY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR COSTS OR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF PRIVATE OR GOVERNMENTAL LEGAL ACTIONS RELATED TO YOUR USE OF ANY OF THE APP AND ITS SERVICES IN ANY COUNTRY.
Subscription-Related Limitations:
We are not liable for:
- Charges incurred due to failure to cancel subscriptions before renewal
- Refund denials by Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Payment processing issues handled by third-party platforms
- Subscription verification failures due to platform issues
- Loss of data when downgrading from premium to free tier
Your Responsibility and Indemnification:
You hereby acknowledge and agree that your use of the App, its Services, translation results as well as any other AI-generated content created via the App is at your sole risk.
You assume and acknowledge your full responsibility arising out of your use of the App, its Services and/or use, other exploitation, further distribution, sharing any translation results and any other AI-generated content created via the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by the applicable law, you hereby agree to hold harmless and indemnify us, our successors, assigns, licensors, partners, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, legal representatives from and against any and all claims, losses, damages of any type or nature arising out of or in connection with:
- Your improper use of the App and its Services
- Your use, exploitation, distribution, or sharing of translation results and AI-generated content created via the App
- Your failure to comply with the terms of the present Agreement
- Any consequences arising from inaccurate or inappropriate translations
- Your failure to cancel a subscription before renewal
- Any disputes with Apple or Google regarding payments or refunds
XX. TERMINATION OF SERVICE
20.1 Termination by Us
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App and subscription services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Violation of this Agreement
- Fraudulent or abusive behavior
- Failure of payment processing
- Misuse of subscription features
- Violation of fair use policies
- At the company's discretion for any lawful reason
20.2 Effect of Termination
Upon termination by us:
- You are NOT entitled to refunds for unused subscription periods
- All features associated with your subscription will be immediately revoked
- Your access to premium features will be terminated
- You will be downgraded to the Free tier or completely blocked from using the App
- All locally stored data may be deleted
20.3 Termination by You
You may terminate this Agreement at any time by:
- Cancelling your subscription through your device settings
- Uninstalling the App from your device
- Ceasing all use of the App
20.4 Survival of Terms
Upon any termination: (a) The rights and licenses granted to you herein shall terminate immediately (b) You must cease all use of the App and uninstall it from all devices (c) All provisions of this Agreement that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to warranty disclaimers, indemnity obligations, and limitations of liability
XXI. LEGAL COMPLIANCE
Export and Sanctions Compliance:
You represent and warrant that:
- You are not located in a country that is subject to an Indian Government or international embargo, or that has been designated as a "terrorist supporting" country
- You are not listed on any Indian Government or international list of prohibited or restricted parties
- Your use of the App complies with all applicable export control and sanctions laws
XXII. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Governing Law:
This Agreement and any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Jurisdiction:

We make no representations that the App is appropriate or available for use in all locations. Those who access or use the App from other jurisdictions do so at their own volition and are responsible for compliance with local law.
If you choose to access or use the App from or in locations outside of India, you are responsible for:
(a) Ensuring that what you are doing in that country is legal; and
(b) The consequences and compliance by you with all applicable laws, regulations, bylaws, codes of practice, licenses, registrations, permits and authorizations.
Dispute Resolution Process:

The other terms of this Agreement shall continue to apply with full force and effect and shall not be affected by the illegal, invalid or unenforceable provision or by its deletion.
